Rachel: Has A New Blog!!!!

Hello!!!!

I would like to welcome, Rachel!!!! Thank you, thank you! (I don't think I'll be talking like that in my blog......It's way too confusing.)I'm aiming for this to be a blog that mixes my life, and my interests. Mostly, I want it to be about my life & my knit/crochet projects. Of course, who knows how it'll actually turn out!

First posts are sometimes funny, exciting, boring, etc. I'll lay a little ground in this one, by including one extremely relevant post, ans one with something that I just want you to know.. Teehee! Here you go!

1.Rachel Loves: ............(Well, Okay, To Be Honest, Rachel Just Needs to Talk.)
*SIGH* Okay, right now, Rachel is in what you would call a rut. A sad rut. Okay, fine - a somewhat depressed rut. You might say that it’s awfully early in life to be feeling this way, but hey, all I could say to that is: I DIDN’T CHOOSE TO FEEL LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
8th grade ended with a bang. A BIG BANG! - (Please excuse the pun.) I had a couple popular friends, I sat with them at lunch, and all heck broke loose. Though it wasn’t the majority of the Pops, (which is what I ‘ve just decided to refer to the populars from now on as,) Queen Pop and one of her little minions decided that she didn’t want me sitting there. (I still don’t quite understand WHY she hated me. (Trust me, I know she did - I asked one of my friends who sat at the table. She’s blunt and honest, and made it clear that I was right in assuming Queen Pop hated me.) I didn’t do anything! I just wanted to sit withmy friends! It’s a freakin’ lunch spot!) She and her few evil harpies went after me with all they had - of course, it was hardly to my face. That’s part of what made it so gosh-awful! I don’t know why they have such power over me. I seriously wish they didn’t. It’s not like I don’t COME UP with things to say to them, they just weren’t things I could say at school without getting sent to the principal’soffice and tarnishing my goody-two shoes reputation. (No, cuss words were never included. Not even in my head) So, I put up with it. What else was I to do? I had a little less than a month left of school, and nobody else to sit with at lunch. (Even if there had been a totally empty table to sit at, who wants to be branded LOSER from 9th grade on? It would always be remembered.)
It sucked.
ALOOOOOOOOOT.
Why did I sit there in the first place, you may ask?
1. I had some friends there.
2. I had no other friends to sit with at that fear-ridden period called lunch. The people I’d previously been sitting with were just kinda ignoring me. My close friends were ALL on the other team.
To top it all off, guess what co-insided, and has been on-going since/with the lunch events? I’ve drifted away from my friends. Nope, it wasn’t like we had a blowout fight - They just pretty much forgot about me. They’ve been ALL hanging out together, and thanks to social media, I get to read about and see it all. I don’t go looking for it. I’ll just be looking at what was posted most recently, and look at what I find! On some level, I knew we didn’t have much in common anymore. A big part of me wanted to slip away and find some different friends. You know what, though? Loneliness is just about one of the worst things in the world. I never wanted, or expected that.
Yeah, maybe all of this started a few months ago. It hasn’t gotten better, though; so how could I just move on? I’m going into high school, without friends. It’s like moving to a new town - which I’ve already done a couple times in my life - except everybody already has presumptions and assumptions about you, and they think they know exactly who you are.
….Well, it was good to get that out.

Rachel Loves: Veggies
2.
Vegetables actually do taste good to me. Of course, that’s not why I used to be a vegetarian. I hate the thought of animals dying for me to live. Cows, for example, have feelings, too.
So why am I not a vegetarian? The answer’s simple: My parents are average, middle class people. Finding healthy, affordable, vegetarian meals & foods can be pretty tough.

WAAH!!! Poor cows!

Well, if you're still reading this, I have something to say: Thank you, and congratulations!!!!! I really hope you'll read my blog. I don't think you'll get bored, because I am not a boring person. So, hang on. High school's bound  to bring about plenty of interesting posts.

Love,
Rachel
